THE SPORTS DIRECTOR OF THE ESC LALIGA & NBA CENTRE JOINS SPORTS DATA CAMPUS TO STRENGTHEN THE TRAINING PROPOSAL OF OUR ENTITY AT A GLOBAL LEVEL.
Madrid, 30th January 2023.- Sports Data Campus officially announces the appointment of Josele González, Sports Director of ESC LaLiga & NBA, as the new International Ambassador of Sports Data Campus. From now on, he will be one of the global representatives of our entity with the aim of continuing to expand and strengthen the scope of our training proposals and to ensure that in many more corners of the planet, a democratic use of data can be made, at the service of the improvement of sport, regardless of the category or the resources that clubs and sports entities have at their disposal.
The new Sports Data Campus International Ambassador has an extensive professional career. He has worked in the International Management of CF Fuenlabrada, as CEO Spain International Sports, Methodology Manager Canteras Perú, International Area Director C.D. Leganés, Technical Secretary Equatorial Guinea Federation, International Area Director A.D. Alcorcón (LFP), Grassroots Football Coordinator A.D. Alcorcón (LFP), Methodology Director A.D. Alcorcón (LFP), Recruitment Area Technician Real Madrid, and Sports Director Guadalajara (2ªB), among other positions.
David Saéz, Executive Director of Sports Data Campus, and Miguel Ángel del Barrio Rodríguez, Programme Director, recently visited the ESC LaLiga & NBA facilities to meet with Josele González, Sports Director of ESC LaLiga NBA and begin to outline the joint actions to be taken.
In the words of ESC LaLiga NBA’s own Sports Director: «It is always a pleasure to collaborate with educational institutions that develop and work in the field of Big Data and advanced analytics in the service of improving professional sport. Without a doubt, I am convinced that this union will allow us, from now on, to build and execute many interesting projects together».

Josele will carry out a series of actions aimed at the different Sports Data Campus programmes such as the MSC Data Analytics in Football, Master in Big Data in Sport, Master in Big Data applied to Scouting in Football, carried out in collaboration with Sevilla FC, Master in Big Data applied to Physical Preparation in Football, among others.
