FROM THE SCREEN TO THE PITCH

Join us for this Openclass in which we’ll be exploring how data impacts what happens in the pitch every game and how from the work the data analysts and the scouts do every week we can see an improvement on many aspects of the game.

With some top professional who also have coursed the master MSc Data Analytics in Football we’ll go deep into the different angles from which data can really benefit the performance and the outcome of the players on the pitch.

We will explain in detail how data is collected during training and matches (physical, technical and tactical) and how it is used in talent detection and scouting. We will discuss the methods used for this collection and the importance of ensuring their reliability. In addition, we will look at how they are integrated into club management and how they influence decision-making, among other highly relevant topics.

We will also have the player’s perspective, who will share his personal experience about the usefulness of this data and how it impacts his training and performance on the field.
